Specifically, this involved the design and implementation of GUIs for 13 variants of Unix in C, C++, and Motif/X libraries. Also designed and implemented a wide array of scientific visualizations for large and complex data-sets. 4/1997 - 9/1997 DeHavilland Toronto, ON Programmer / Analyst Designed and implemented online data entry applications and interfaces for HR systems. These applications enabled data entry clerks to efficiently retrieve profiles of individuals on payroll. This system was implemented in a UNIX/ORACLE environment. 9/1995 - 12/1996 Sears Canada / ISM Toronto, ON Programmer / Analyst Developed user interface modules and applications for a large information system used to track shipments across Canada. These applications are currently used nation-wide by hundreds of store managers and thousands of catalog retailers. 1/1995 - 5/1995 Teklogix Mississauga, ON Software Engineer Designed and implemented low-level network diagnostic applications in a real-time environment. The applications were designed to test the integrity of data being sent between MC68360 based RF network controllers via an Ethernet or token-ring LAN. |
