Dear Sir or Madam:

This letter is written in support of Company X, Inc.’s application on behalf of Mr. John Doe for admission to the United States as a non-immigrant pursuant to Appendix 1603.D.1 to Annex 1603 of the NAFTA. Mr. Doe will be employed as a Systems Analyst at an annual salary of $________ per year, plus fringe benefits.

 

DESCRIPTION OF THE PETITIONER

Company X, Inc. specializes in the design and development of e-business applications.  Company X works with a variety of companies – startups to fortune 1000 – in financial services, retail, consumer technology, government services, manufacturing, and other industries.  Recent clients include: X-Bank, internetcompany.com, and ABC Publishing.  Founded in 1998, Company X, Inc. currently employs 50 developers and researchers in its New York, NY office.  More information about Company X, Inc. can be found at www.companyx.com.  See Exhibit 1, Company X, Inc. brochure.

 

DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB DUTIES

In this regard, Company X, Inc. has recognized the temporary need for a Systems Analyst. The Systems Analyst will help develop and design user interface and technology integration direction for Company X’s product development initiatives.  He will also keep abreast of developing web technologies and issues, while assisting with the research, design, and implementation of internal and external applications as required.

 

The minimum requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

 

Mr. Doe will not be employed pursuant to a contract of any kind. Mr. Doe will be performing services as an employee of Company X, Inc.

 

THE BENEFICIARY’S QUALIFICATIONS

Mr. Doe is an obvious choice for the professional temporary position of Systems Analyst with Company X, Inc. Mr. Doe was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Design Engineering from the XYZ University in April 2000. XYZ Corporation –User Interface Engineer (Jul 2000 - May 2001), New York, NY

 

  • Created an efficient framework for the design and delivery of user interface specifications.
  • Designed user interfaces and information architectures for major online media & entertainment portals.
  • Created functional requirements and UI prototypes for an online career planning resource for students.   
  • Conducted usability audits for multiple client websites, improving site usability and client satisfaction.
  • Conducted extensive research, analytical assessments, and design presentations to assist clients in the development of optimal user interfaces.

 

 

Fake Company – Unix GUI Engineer (Jan 1998 - Jan 1999), Toronto, ON

 

  • Designed and implemented graphical user interfaces for 13 variants of UNIX using C, C++, and Motif/X libraries.
  • Implemented a series of applications using advanced multi-platform GUI components for the release of Sitraka’s complete Unix GUI Suite, XRT PDS 3.0.

 

 

CONCLUSION

Mr. Doe’s background qualifies him to perform the duties of Systems Analyst for Company X, Inc. Based on his fine academic credentials and professional background, we wish to employ him in this position. His background is excellent, combining elements of formal study with practical experience in industry. We have every expectation that Mr. Doe’s assignment with Company X will prove beneficial to our business.
